Natsu's Embark page
Other: 06/11/2016 Natsu was shown under SV judge Rainer Mast at Menlo Park Schutzhund Club and received a G rating. The judge liked his conformation, movement, and temperament the most out of his class, but unfortunately he could only give him a "G" because Natsu is missing his P1 premolars.

Natsu is a large, powerful, and confident male with good nerve. He enjoys the fight and strikes hard and full. He has a fantastic work ethic, is an eager and willing partner always trying to do right by his handler, and enjoying new challenges. He tends to be aloof but accepting of strangers. He's clear headed with a high threshold, reliable, loyal to his handler, driven, curious, stable, and he has an excellent off switch. He also adores children and has solid hunt drive.
We would like to thank the kind and extremely knowledgeable Linda Shaw for critiquing our dogs. If you want learn about German Shepherd conformation and functionality she is extremely well educated.
"I have been asked to give my opinion of this male, based on a series of photographs. I have not seen him in life.
He appears to be a well balanced, short coupled male, size unknown. Dark sable, slightly longish coat, normal bone. He has a nice head and expression, could perhaps be a bit stronger through the muzzle. Ears look a bit small and a bit wide set. Dark eye. Bite and teeth unknown. His neck looks long and well set. His withers are acceptable, but I prefer slightly higher withers. The irregularity behind his withers I presume is wavy coat. His back is short and straight. His shoulder appears normal, with normal forechest. He appears slightly deep through the chest, which is accentuated by the heavy coat. Feet are difficult to see in the grass, but appear strong, with normal pasterns. He looks to be in athletic condition. Good rear angulation, strong hocks. His croup (and pelvis) appears slightly steep, and his tail set looks to be normal to low. He seems to me to be a very nice male."
